Amex Membership Rewards to Gulf Air Falcon Flyer?

Hi all,

Is anyone aware of a way to transfer Amex MRs to the GulfAir Falcon Flyer programme at a 1:1 rate. The only method I have discovered is via Marriott-Aeroplan but this erodes value quite substantially.

I will be travelling to Bahrain fairly frequently and would like to pair my trips with short haul around the ME which is very expensive. The ability to go direct with Gulf rather than via Qatar on Avios would be very useful.

Unfortunately for many airline points holders that Amex UK don’t cover, Marriott route is just about the only option.

We’re lucky to have that option anyway !

The only other options are to transfer to Asiamiles or Etihad directly and use them on GF metal, but you’ll have less availability of award space.
