Amex Platinum referrals – any downside?

I’m about to apply for the Amex Platinum.

Is there any downside to letting someone refer me? Or just upsides for both?

And if the latter, does someone want to refer me?

As reported in the main thread, no downside in this instance. The HFP etiquette is that first dibs are to the HFP team you should email Rob unless him or Rhys pop along shortly.
