Hello,
I obtained Hilton Gold via an Amex Platinum that has since been cancelled. I am wondering at which point Amex will inform Hilton and the status will stop or eventually expires?
For example if the amex was cancelled in 2022, is it right to assume that the status will run until end of 2023 and will reset 1st Jan 2024?
Thanks!
In theory, it should be quite quick (not the full year) but others will know better.
Hilton statuses expire end of March the following year, so if you still have Hilton status in January, it’ll at least be there until the end of March.
(Appreciate that is not the question asked, but is just for info. My actual experience with whether it continues another year or not is not repeatable… so I just ‘wait and see’ and hope for the best).
