In relation to the £200 travel credit on Amex Pt, terms say you get when you spend the £6k signup requirement within the 6 month period, I completed this in 2 months and have received the points bonus for this, anyone know if I get the travel credit straight away or after 6 months, Thanks

Good question rob, I really should try remember these things.
From my horrendous memory, I think it just popped into offers. I’ve even checked my deleted emails just now and didn’t see any in there. It was easy at the time to check offers because like so many, I hardly had any. They finally seem to be pulling through now though.
Also, the credit was showing 2 days after I used Amex travel. It was all a seamless experience.
Lastly, I made a spend on Expedia to hit the 6k target but I don’t quite have the heart yet to tell the wife I have no intention to stay at the Goring in late august.Any idea how flexible this travel credit is ??? Can/Will they just book me a couple of airport transfers abroad to hit the £200 spend? Or am i stuck with a hotel / flight / car hire ?
