Amex Travel website not working?

I have used the Amex travel website in the past to some degree of success. I have recently on a couple of separate occasions tried to book hotel rooms to no avail, searches keep coming back as “No available rooms were found. Please amend your criteria and try again.”. I have even tried random dates well in advance.
I spoke to chat and effectively lost an hour of my life, all they said was book through concierge. I want to browse what the hotels offer in terms of accomodation, location, gym, pool etc
I have cleared cookies and cache too. I am abroad and tries both with and without a VPN and am accessing from inside Amex Plat account.
Anyone else experienced this?
