Have I made this up or dreamt this… did BA exec once have an option where you could select “anywhere” and get destinations:rewards seats available for dates you wanted to travel?
I want to go away anywhere really at end of sept beginning of October for a 241 business return to somewhere warm and I feel like I’m spending hours just picking destinations at random that I can think of finding a flight out maybe but then nothing to return even with the hack….?
Any tips or suggestions?

Seatspy will do this, otherwise you can search by country/continent on BA.
Great thank you!! I’ve signed up. How accurate is it? I’ve seen a flight on their return business 26th aug London to Antigua return 2nd sept and when I go to book it’s not there. I’ve also done the same with dates in late October to Cancun again not available when I go to book?
Ah I see now from previous points this is a known issue and that there is a glitch with the data information transfer from BA!! How annoying!
Only showing one seat on 2nd Sep so 241 won’t work. Not showing any business class to Cancun in October apart from a return on the 25th.
Showing some availability to Grenada and Tobago. Also, are you putting LON on the BA search or Heathrow, some of these will be from Gatwick?
You sometimes may find that LHR-somewhere has no seats but MAN/EDI/Etc-LHR-Somewhere does.
You can also book with Iberia now and could have options in South America. Try MAD-Somewhere and then somewhere-MAD-LHR ont he way back (you will need to book this over the phone).
And remember that if you’re using the “new” AMEX 2-4-1 voucher, Seatspy won’t help anyway as these tickets at least in Club come from a separate bucket. The only thing you can do is do repeated full Avois searches of the BA site.
But there are things out there. I can see plenty of seats with a new 2-4-1 to Antigua, out on Sept 18th, back on the 27th. The Caribbean might be a bit stormy though, so how about Dubai 28th Sept – 4th Oct?
Remember searching on a desktop rather than your phone will also give the option to return a three week search window.
