Just noticed that after a short time away that the option to “Trade up” for Avios on RBS rewards (and presumably also Natwest) appears to be back now and offering a measly 900 Avios for £10 instead of 1125 (or thereabouts) that it was previously.
I’d always converted my rewards to Avios in the past but note now that at this rate it would be better value taking the cash reward and doing an Avios boost, so I’m not sure if they can really claim you are “Trading up” with this option anymore. Not sure if others here have used myrewards in the past but I thought it might be useful to mention.
There’s a chance this may be because I last traded up more than 30 days ago but it doesn’t look like these can be boosted either.
