My elderly mother-in-law has given me an Avios-branded card because she kindly wants to transfer her Avios to me. I’ve not seen a card like this before. It’s blueish-green and has a generic 308147 prefix. She’s given me her login details, but I can’t login to anything with it. She doesn’t know how many Avios she has. I’m assuming it’s all obsolete, but grateful for any thoughts. Thank you.
What kind of card (credit? BA membership?)
You can’t just transfer avios between accounts though, you’d need a HHA. I would ask your MIL a few more questions, tbh, like when did she join BAEC and how did she come by the avios. After a certain amount of time (3 years?) they expire anyway without activity on the account.

I also had an Avios account in parallel to my BA for many years as a result of the Lloyds Avios Duo Card and it was a child of the old AirMiles account I had since opening a NatWest Duo AirMiles Card back in 2001 I believe.
When Avios closed, you were instructed to nominate an alternative account, picking between Air Lingus or BA (mine were transferred across to BA and Avios account closed). However, for those of us that had cancellations on the old Style Lloyds Voucher because of covid, Avios and Voucher got credited back onto the Avios account which was temporarily operational again.
In any case, cannot remember how I was able to log back in, but now it looks like you may have to indeed follow the Vueling/Air Lingus link:
