Recently flew LHR to Chicago in First using 241. Great lounge experience, crew was OK – friendly but not the best service I have ever had. Very laid back.
The issue I complained about was a dirty seat and being served a burnt souffle. So burnt it was inedible and I sent it back. I was actually surprised it was served to me.
BA refunded 15000 avios to both my husband and I – which I thought was more than reasonable.
Wish I could post photo of souffle here though – it was incinerated and solid!!
Did they offer a non burnt souffle?
No!
I was only having starters as well – as didn’t fancy main course selection.
Do you think BA offered 15,000 avios for the burnt soufflé to a First Class customer?

I was thinking it was for both!
As I have no idea what to reasonably expect- the photos were pretty damming re the food. The seat had marks on leather- I only mentioned it to them as I was complaining primarily re the food.
