Avios flight search – severe delays

For last week or so have had long delays trying to ascertain AVIOS flight availability. Have used 2 different browsers as well as the App – same result: can take up to 5 minutes to load

Anyone else – or any suggestions?

Not noticed anything particularly egregious to be honest but I do clear cookies and close down apps etc on a regular basis.

I had the same last week when looking for avios availability on ba.com too. I thought it was just me, but it was the same on my wifes laptop

Have made a lot of searches recently – but despite clearing all my cookies, apps, search history etc, it’s still awful.
Thankfully the search isn’t urgent – so will stay away from the BA site for a few days and see if it improves

Slightly different but…

Seatspy is giving me availability for biz seats LON-NAP in September. Then I go on ba.com and there’s no availability. I tried booking with and without a voucher but it doesn’t change anything…

Has anybody had the same experience?

Not just you! Same issue being discussed on flyertalk here.

Switching from Wifi to 4G seemed to fix it for me… no idea why.

I finally managed to do it, but it took BA a good half an hour to show availability… how weird!
