Avios partner reward chart

Has there perhaps been a sneaky adjustment to the BA partner Avios reward chart since Rob last addressed this topic, 8 July ’23? I’m looking at making a booking on AA for ORD-LGA. That’s 733 miles, zone 2: should be 9000 Avios. But the BA website online booking tool wants to charge me 11,000. For comparison, I checked DTW-LGA: 502 miles, zone 1. 7500 Avios? No, they say 8250.

Anybody know what’s going on?
