So, my avios collection year completed in July and I had thought that any avios accrued from April to July would be added to the new year in line with the new avios year rules to terminate in March.
However looking at it I am on zero tier points has anyone else had this issue and done anything about itTPs (not avios) get zerod out when your collection year ends. This has always happened and isn’t connected to the changes.
But as all the reports clearly state any TPs earned between 1st April and your year end date (8th July) will be added a couple of weeks later.
People have reported BA sends an email out a couple of weeks before a year end explaining this.
The email is pretty clear
This change will move all Executive Members onto the same annual collection period of 1 April to 31 March. When your next collection period begins on 9 July 2024 it will end on 31 March 2025 instead of 8 July 2025.
This is a shorter time for you to collect Tier Points, so we’ll add a Tier Point Adjustment to your account, consisting of any Tier Points earnt from 1 April 2024 to 8 July 2024. This Tier Point Adjustment will be added within 14 days of 8 July 2024 and the Tier status earned will remain until 30 April 2026.
