I’m picking up a hire in Cape Town. The cost is £94 with the option to take out Vehicle Cover plus for an extra £40 (includes damage and theft excess and roadside assistance). Is it worth it or better to take out a separate policy?
My Questor annual policy was £49.48 for the year, so if you’re hiring more than one car in the next year it’s worth doing a seperate policy.
Picked up at Avis Cape Town last month on a Saturday morning. Took almost an hour to collect the car due to needing a letter of intent to drive into Lesotho. Plan on waiting for at least 30 mins though, as they’re a bit of a shambles.
