I had booked a car with along with flights to PVK with BA Holidays for a week last month. Avis has always been pretty good, but it was only after booking that I read the Google reviews on Avis Car Hire Preveza Airport and started to panic. The reviews were terrible, so I was rather worried what I had got myself into.
However, it was one of the best Avis experiences yet. On arrival at the desk the service was quick and efficient through the paperwork and I was then escorted out to the car by an Avis/Budget staff member, who advised me to take a video and photos all round the car to be sure of any damage. I had booked a Group A (Fiat Panda), and the provides a Group D Skoda Scala, quite new, just a couple of minor scuffs on rear bumper and much bigger & nicer than a Panda.
On return, the car was inspected and a small scratch found on the front bumper. The Avis staff member asked if I had photos from when I collected and when I showed them the scratch was visible, so there was no issue. Return “paper work” signed on phone and emailed to me confirming no issues & a full tank.
Overall a trouble free hire, with a useful upgrade and a very easy location – about 40m from the airport door to the car.
