Does anyone know how many seats are made available for first class avois redemptions on JAL?
We want to go back to Japan for our wedding anniversary next year, but I can only see one seat available in first for redemption through BAEC at any date.If anyone has any knowledge or tips for getting two I’d love to hear it!
ThanksI got two tickets from anywhere between 6-8 months before to 3 months before. You should book one ticket and set up an alert for the other via Expertflyer.
It’s also possible that it’s been snapped up by Mileage Bank customers as they are released at T-360 for them. However, it’s not unusual for JAL to release more awards. I’ve seen 4 seats available in F.
Quite possibly, given the really high cost of cash tickets at the moment (we are looking at £1.2k+ for economy) they are not releasing more award tickets.

Oh yes, I think they removed it end of last year along with many other airlines.
