If you cancel via email link, you can resubscribe for 10 USD for a further 12 months taking me to Nov 2026
I didn’t get that offer at all. But if you go to “My Profile” -> “Upgrade / Extend Membership”, you can extend up to 10 years at the current price a $10/year. To be honest, I don’t think $10/year is even worth it if the USP doesn’t even work properly due to 2FA.

Are you sure about this? I went to this page and the only option I can see is for “AwardWallet OneCard”, which I believe is their specially printed card with your airline/hotel membership IDs on it. And you can buy up to 10.
Please double cheeck this, as I wouldn’t want you to wake up to 10 useless gold cards in the post!
To be fair to AW, it hasn’t been $10 for years. Price has been $30 for a long time. Anyone paying $10 was grandfathered on the old rate and never had their rate increased – which may now backfire on them because people see it as a massive jump.
There’s a distinct lack of integrity in doing that. I appreciate that SeatSpy, for example, has stuck to my legacy subscription rate because I was an early adopter. As long as my subscription stays relatively discounted, they can up it if they like. But anything else feels just a bit grasping.

Very sure you clicked the wrong thing. You need to click “My Profile” first on the drop down, next to your name, NOT “Purchase OneCard credits”
Here’s the direct link of “My Profile”.You then have an option called “Upgrade / Extend Membership”

The link under “My Profile” page, the link does say “Upgrade / Extend Membership”, but the landing page does say OneCard Credit, so I’m not sure. Even their FAQ is not clear. Either way, the tool is practically useless, I won’t be extending the membership.
I did find the $10 offer, which I’ve done.
I went to my profile and clicked on “Upgrade / Extend Membership” and I also only see OneCard credit. Is that extending membership by one year ($10 is about what the value of this tool is these days)? Or is that completely different?
@supergraeme, what $10 offer are you referring to?No, it wasn’t that – but when I look now it says that my subscription expires in January and I can’t find that offer. I also haven’t been charged, so I’m guessing it was an expired offer that hadn’t disappeared yet. Oh well, I’ll be cancelling.
Anyone successfully retrieved their BA account recently?
I’ve managed to get AW working on all accounts except Avios family: BA, Iberia and Qatar are the only ones that fail.
The error for BA is “We could not recognize captcha”.

Yes it’s been doing it a while
Normally AW will open a separate tab for BA which will require some form of manual intervention to click on the captcha in order to progress the screen scraping process. Iberia does work intermittently with AW but be wary of using it with Qatar as it is likely to end up with your account being locked. In essence, AW is of very little value these days in its current form.

Thanks. I’ve tried allowing popups etc, but I never get offered a captcha by AW. I’m beginning to think my trusty spreadsheet may be the more reliable answer!
Thanks for the heads-up about Qatar too.

I’d add that they have also added new features during that time that they’ve failed to highlight.
For instance, the Trip summary function. I’ve found this to be quite useful in organising my travel albeit not without some design issues.
woo!
I’ve been granted a 3 month extension…
Weirdly, that doesn’t really change anything for me at all? Seems pointless?
I did laugh a little at their email, which (to paraphrase) said ‘we’ve given our best and most active users an extra 12 months for free! Unfortunately you’re not one of them, so here’s 3 months instead.’ Thanks, I guess?
