Hi, I’m at 1410 pts, frustrating not to keep Gold at 1,500 pts…my annual membership ends on 8 May. Any ideas on cheapest way to earn another 90? I have no more business travel planned before 8 May which is a pain…But not worth spending much ‘just’ to keep Gold when Silver has quite similar benefits. Thanks, Paul
just realised I did not post this in correct place. sorry. can’t see any functionality to delete and repost…
Round trip in club Europe and use the low fare finder on BA.com. BUD can provide good value as does Luxembourg but for shorter CE routes you’ll need to add a cheap LHR AMS or EDI to get the 90 points required
One way in CE, other in Y to Bucharest or Sofia or Helsinki. Double check the economy flight gets at least 10 TPs.
One way in CE will get OP 40 TP not 80 …
I think it’s a CE return plus ET return or WTP to long haul.
Not sure I’d agree silver is similar to gold if you travel alot via LHR then first wing and flounge is a decent advantage.
Silver isn’t really worth much if you fly a lot in Club either.
One way in CE will get OP 40 TP not 80 …
Are you sure about that?

True on the very long ones but neither of the cheap ones mentioned will
Athens, Bucharest, Catania, Helsinki, Instanbul
But I’ve failed to find cheap fares for these recently.
