BA Amex tier point offer

Tier point collection year ending Feb 8th, on course to miss Silver by 45 points.

Received today (23rd) 100 tier points from BA amex spend, missed by 1 day the extra 50, will only post Feb 23rd.

Any advice if I can retain silver by asking for extension?

I asked as I flew F LHR/SFO and my double tier points straddled by year end. “Absolutely not” was the answer. But you can always try!

@lhar – the double tier points should be applied to the date of the flight. So unless outbound and inbound were in different collection years, the double TPs should all be added to the year the flights were flown in (which I make to be 840TP if return in F).

@SJ – just checked – you are correct. The flights straddled the year end so I didn’t get Silver (we had to go to Aberdeen for lunch for me to make Silver 😉 ). My son found it quite hilarious he was Silver and not I. Interested in the OP’s outcome!
