Has anyone used the arrivals lounge at Terminal 5 recently? And if so, what’s the verdict? I an arriving at 11.30am. Any reviews I have seen are quite old. Thank you.

It is what it is, not exactly as if you have much choice without getting your wallet out. You could go to the AA T3 lounge which has better showers, but not worth the effort imho.

As far as I’m aware it hasn’t really changed for many years, so the reviews you’ve seen are still valid.

From what I recall, I’m not sure you can access the AA T3 arrivals lounge unless arriving on a BA long haul into T3 or AA of course

Landing at 11:05 from Washington in F. Arrival lounge says it’s open until 14:00, offering a full English breakfast until 12:00. If I get there after midday, do they offer some sort of lunch in the Concorde dining area section?

I have done it once when arriving with BA in T5, purely because I was meeting up with someone arriving in T3 (we reached the lounge separately and they didn’t ask). The AA webpage does say ‘AA flight arriving at LHR or BA long haul arriving at LHR T3’, so always scope for rejection but may depend on how busy they are or whether they even notice or decide to care where your flight arrived.
