BA Avios booking – multi city

Hi All, long time reader with a question I think I already know the answer to!

I’m looking to fly to New York from London and then back to London from Las vegas later this year. Is there any way other than calling to book this using a new style Amex voucher which gives me 50% off the avios needed (travelling alone).
So far all I can see I can do is book London to NYC with the voucher and then las vegas to London completely with avios as 2 separate bookings but then it’s obviously the normal avios amount for the return. I guess I might be paying more tax as well with 2 bookings?

I think I have to call as I can’t find an option on the website to do this but any advice is much appreciated!
