I don’t fly CE a lot so was surprised on a recent booking to be able to select rows 1-3 on the outbound (A320) and 1-11 on the inbound (A320).
Row 11 is an emergency exit so even if I can pick the first row I am wondering if the extra legroom there is not worth it. But I also wonder if the plane won’t be reconfigured later on.
Any advice from the BA frequent flyers here?
My last outbound I could choose up to row 11 in CE on check-in. I played safe and didn’t choose the exit row and there ended up only 7 or 8 rows of CE total on the flight.
Exactly my though, thanks Peter.
I also just realized my Gold status will expire before the flight so will simply select the front row and fingers crossed that will stick haha!
Row 11 means up to 40 people getting off the plane ahead of you (unless they open the back door)
