Hi,
We’ve just booked the BA0015 using companion voucher from LHR to SIN in April 2026. The flight number is BA0015 and looking at seat selection it appears it’s the old club world layout, not the new suites.
I was wondering if anyone knows if the BA0011 that flies slightly earlier (around 18:00 departure) has the new club world. Or if the BA0015 may be planned for upgrade?
Basically I am just trying to do the best thing to increase our odds of getting the new cabins, I know it’s not a guarantee?
Thanks!
BA15 is currently booked for a 789, possible but pretty small chance that could be CS in 12 months.
BA11 is a currently a 777 which would definitely be CS. However they could change the aircraft type, so as always nothing is guaranteed.
We flew BA0015 end of jan this year and it was a 777 with CS. It changes so will likely/possibly change again before you fly in April next year
BA0011 same dates was an A380 flying the old CW seat
We flew home from HK on an 789 with old CW seats. We have booked same return flight for next year and that’s currently a 777 with CS.
Point is they change the planes so there is no guarantee either way
I am LHR SIN in Sep on the BA11/12 in this decrepit product. I was unable to get seats that don’t require crampons and ropes to get in and out of during the night and given how utterly appalling a CS flight was in February I hold little hope that this could be anything but torture.
I didn’t realise my mistake till I had paid and hold out no hope of a change. So I plan to cancel later this week. At 200,000 Avios, a 241 and £1800 it’s just not worth it. I plan to use a QR ex EU service which is presently pricing at €2000 per person.
BA CW is just such a rubbish product and it bewilders me that they can sell this against SQ on a nonstop basis or any ME3 carrier
A key point to note is that the aircraft used for the “winter” schedule (from late October through to end March) are different to those used in the “summer” schedule.
This applies to both BA11 and BA15.

Perhaps the same trip in economy might redefine your definition of torture 😁
The bulkhead seats with direct access on the A380 (53/59) are among my favourite seats, but anything else is not great – lack of storage grinds me as well.
Yes – loved these on our LHR-DXB flight. The most personal space I’ve ever had on a plane, although the window seat is definitely better than the aisle in those pairs. You need to grab them early, though.
One man’s torture is another’s pleasure but you won’t find me in Y or PE on a BA plane. Given how mixed service is in J/F I can’t imagine being in the hands of BA crew in Y. David Williams springs to mind!
But my point remains, how do they manage to fill premium cabins ex LHR when up against SQ? The mind boggles
I do find it amazing that BA choose to spend money on an all ‘star’ cast for their continually changing safety demonstration videos, but can’t find the budget to clean the interior of the cabins or maintain them, let along upgrading them.

You think it might be torture travelling in CS or old CW to Singapore but imagine continuing all the way to Sydney! For the reasons you and @Cranzle cite and a few more, BA is not in the top 10 airlines for consideration to Asia/Australia.
My wife hates additional travel time/stops/transfers but BA is sufficiently bad that she is very happy that our autumn trip to China is QR out, CX back. Fortunately 241 vouchers can now be used on Iberia.
