Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club BA Club World on an A380 with an infant

  • 37 posts

Hi, I’m travelling CW to Dubai on the BA A380 with Mrs H and our near 2yo infant. As you know it will be the old CW product with the yin yang layout.

Seat selection is wide open, and I’ve narrowed the options to upper deck window/aisle seats, or lower deck middle seats (also known as the ‘couple’ seats)

Does anyone have any experience travelling in these? I’ve selected the ‘couple’ seats for now as it’s an overnight flight so hoping there will be more space for baby H to sleep between the two of us, but also wondering if sacrificing the benefits of upper deck will be worth it?

    Any trip reports/experiences/opinions appreciated.

On the way back we’re in the new club suite, which I hear isn’t as infant friendly – but looking forward to the new product nonetheless!

    Thanks
    H

The middle pair is key, I think. You have a secure area which allows the litte ‘un to wander around. The only issue is aisle access, depending on how often you think you’ll be up and about.

No one will need to climb over you
Both of you have aisle access without climbing over anyone
    Couple seat makes sense
