Hi. I received an email from BA telling me that some flights that I had booked from Gatwick will now be operated by Euroflyer.
When I try to book seats (as a silver member), this does not seem to be available.
What should I expect regarding seat booking, catering, or any other aspects of the flight?
Thanks
Nothing different from what is what before.
There seems to be a hitch with seat selection due to the LHR/LGW move – it’s not a regular occurrence. If you use Royal Jordanian’s MMB site you’ll be able to do it as normal (or you can also call BA).
On paper, there’s not a big difference. But the planes are older and the crew is not as experienced (or well paid…). Catering is actually a bit different as it’s not the same supplier that does LHR.
My answer is a bit of a mess for the short haul Summer 23 timetable.
With A320 and A321 aircraft being based at Gatwick, this means the timetable has to accomodate A321 aircraft on more popular routes at more popular times to fill them, the result is the timetable is very irregular.
For the first week in July LGW-CTA flights are at different times on every day of that week.
Will it settle for S24? I hope so.
