BA now selling full First back on Mumbai at 5499£. Always been interested in taking it out to India. Anyone know what the first service is like out of Mumbai?
I was upgraded out and back from Business to first cabin (not service) recently. Business oversold. This was old club world and the First seat and cabin is very comfortable, if a bit tired around the edges. But, classy in it’s way. I expect First service on top would be worth it, albeit flight times can vary on Mumbai. For a night flight out to UK I’d go Business and First for the daytime on return when you can enjoy the service.
When I last flew it, which is a few years ago now, it was the same as BA First anywhere. Expect “the best business class in the world” as always. The only time I’ve been let down by First was from Nairobi where they forgot to load enough duvets to cover the people being upgraded and so I slept very badly as I was cold.
