BA Gold travelling on Qantas flight number but Emirates plane

Hi I’m a gold member with BA and have booked to go to oz on QF however one flight is operated by EK

Will I get my gold benefits such as lounge / seats/ avios / tier points etc

Provided all flights are booked with QF numbers avios and tier points should definitely apply – I booked all the way to/from Oz on qantas dot com making sure my flights were QF but using EK metal and points posted swiftly.

I was flying business anyway, so had the lounge, seats etc

The biggest challenge on EK IMO will be whether you get priority check in. EK attracts many infrequent flyers and the economy check in line always looks enormous and slow moving.
