All,
Just wondering, have you guys been in this situation? I am planning to use the BA double tier points promo again. This time, I am planning to get from Manchester to Marrakech for 5 nights. It should give me 480 tier points in total.
Now, the question is, on the website, it gives me MAN to LHR and then LGW to RAK. All flights are BA flights.
I am also planning to use part pay with Avios points.
Would I still qualify for the double tier points?
Thanks.
It probably would but are you really so desperate for TPs that you would put yourself through the torture of an LHR-LGW transfer twice rather than flying direct on easyjet or tui?
Oh come on. It’s an hour on a coach not a trip through Dante’s circles of hell.
That would be MAN security🤣🤣
But yes this would qualify for the 2xTP offer just as many other multi hop trips do
But assuming not HBO, collect luggage at LHR, recheck and security at LGW, and then the reverse. Coach 1hr assuming no closures, crashes on the Surecy section of the M25. And also arriving at LGW/LHR 2 hours ahead for the respectve flights.
Not just 1 hr on the coach.
I’ve done some silly things in the past but no way would I do that.
I’ve done the LGW-LHR run about a dozen times and not once has it been delayed or diverted.
And it seems you’ve not even done the trip whereas thousands and thousands of people have.
It was just an idea. TBH, after carefully looking at the dates, I am thinking of somewhere else.
