So after spending over 1hr waiting on the BA chatbot, I got through to discuss the refund on my BA holiday which I purchased at the end of 2021.

I had a good conversation with the lady on the other end and we worked out that I’d get my £2626 back in card refund, and my £150 deposit as a voucher… Fine… No problem.

However today, I just received an email saying my full £2776 is a voucher.
My booking was for the first week of March so over 4 weeks away, so am I correct in saying I should have got the £2626 back as a card refund?

I just want to make sure before I proceed with my complaint…

Unless there was something like a flight cancellation then this would be a voluntary calculation and so would be a voucher rather than a cash refund.

Or is there some other factor involved?
