Hi all,
Does anyone have any guidance in terms of trying to open an BA On Business account when the company has no VAT number? I run a company where the service it provides isn’t vatable and there is a fair amount of international travel involved. I can’t get through the application stage without one and the person I spoke with at BA couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t have a VAT number.
Thanks
Will the website accept noughts in the VAT number box?
“If you do not have an On Business account, American Express will open one for you when you apply. The requirement to be VAT registered is waived if you apply for the Accelerating Business card. This means that the card is a back-door route for businesses under the VAT threshold to join On Business.”
