Hi All, on this page:
https://www.headforpoints.com/2022/08/15/british-airways-tier-points-2022-targets/
it is stated that you will not drop down a level if your card expiry is shown as some time after your TP collection year ends. My TP collection year ends tomorrow and my card expiry is shown as 31st Dec 2023. Does that indicate I should keep my Silver card for another year even if I haven’t collected 450 pts by tomorrow?
I ‘chatted’ with an EC advisor earlier and s/he said I would not retain it.
Pushing this back to the top in the hope of help!
It does look as though you’ve qualified for Silver – how many TPs have you actually earned this year? Have you checked your statement in case you’ve been awarded any “unexpected” ones due to BA’s flaky IT?!
If the card says December 2023, that’s what it is.
My transactions show 280 TP earned since last year end, but the app is showing 260. Go figure. Going by the advice on the page in the link though it shouldn’t matter, as the app is showing the extension. I guess the app could be completely out though, judging by comments I have read!
