Hi – Does anyone know if it’s possible to do back to back flights on BA LHR – INV? And is it possible on Saturdays?
Thanks.Yes it is.
it’s a small and efficient airport. No need to run but no time to dawdle either.
Saturdays would depend on the flight times but in general the arrival from LHR does the return flight.
But the last outbound usually returns the next morning.
Flyertalk has up to date info shared by members on how back to backs work covering many, many destinations.
INV is historically one of the easier ones. But for any UK domestic destination you’ll also need to think about a backup plan if you’re using BA if they cancel either one of your flights as they are cancelling so many domestics in particular, across recent months.
Yes it is, small efficient airport. Don’t have to run but can’t dawdle either,
Incoming flight operate the return. Last Arrival from LHR of the day does the next mornings flight to LHR
No idea specifically about Saturday. It would deoend in the schedule.
Thanks for all of your replies.
LHR – INV 09.20 – 11.05
INV – LHR 12.00 – 13.35.Silly question, but would I have to clear security and re- enter?

Yes, but the airport/terminal is tiny. I’ve walked farther along some jet-ways than the turnaround at INV.
Is for TPs/4 BA sectors? Would MAN or NCL not be quicker?

Are you feeling Ok? Never thought I’d ever see you recommend Manchester!
There are indeed better airports to do back to backs such as NCL or AMS where you don’t have to clear security as arrivals decant into the same gate area but MAN is definitely not in that camp!
Just because it’s my local and I did a very straightforward day return last year to get my 4 x BA flights for Silver! Not back to back though as the cheapest flights were early afternoon then late evening. I suppose it’s easier doing it starting from MAN as you don’t need to clear security again at LHR.
It just feels like a lot less flying time than LHR-INV!

INV worked out the cheapest and that was between October and February. My membership year starts in March. Thanks again for your advice.
TP’s.
