We are going to Asia on a 2for1 and I am in the process of booking some internal flights in Thailand and then on to KL. Bangkok airways are not in oneworld but are a codeshare. We will be travelling economy so as a BA silver member would we get access to the lounges and business class check ins etc when flying with Bangkok air?
No unless you’re booked on the BA codeshare and even then it might not be recognised. There’s no obligation on them to recognise your BA status as an independent booking
And the sapphire one world status doesn’t count either?
