BAPP sign up bonus increase?

Was about to sign up for the BAPP and will qualify for the Sign-Up Bonus.

It a few months ago it was 60k Avios, now it’s 30k Avios.

With all the drama I am guessing they might run a promo soon.

Anyone have any inkling on a date for increase to the sign up bonus on BAPP?

Maybe a bit later in January (which has been the norm), and at least after the jumbo Plat/Gold offers end on 14 Jan.

Besides the direct Amex offer, also check the offer within your BA account. They’ve increased that offer before, while keeping the SUB directly via Amex the same.
PS: I’m also waiting on an increased offer to get it again, my 2 years without the card ended sometime last year.

Nothing will happen whilst other offers are running. Amex does not overlap promo offers for cards.

What’s your reckoning, Rob? That there are usually offers rotated on and so we can suspect an offer comes in Jan, or that it’s unlikely and more likely late 2025?

Thanks had a look and it’s 33k, so not much more.

Was talking in general terms, not just today 🙂
Just that you might find that offer via BA happening while “directly” with Amex nothing changes.
