Barclay Premier account – 25,000 Avios joining bonus

Hiya,

I earlier had a Barclay’s current account (not Premier). Planning to open Premier current account and join Barclays Avios Rewards. Will I receive 25,000 Avois joining bonus?

Barclay website says it is for “new” users only, but the FAQs mentions the joining criteria as “Join Barclays Avios Rewards within four months of opening your first Barclays Premier Banking Current Account.

You need to look at the full terms which suggest the that you would in principle only be eligible for an existing customer bonus rather than the new customer one, but that bonus is and how that works practice…

Thank you for your response. @jbd. I looked at detailed terms earlier and it says “have had a current account with us for 4 months or more when you join Barclays Avios Rewards”. I do not have a current account with Barclays as of now, so I should quality for “new customer” joining bonus!
