Barclaycard CC voucher – only one in a year?

Hi

Curious to know whether only one e-voucher can be credited in a year per BAEC account. I have an existing voucher after hitting 10k spend issued 23/10/23, switched to free card and had another voucher issued 16/10/24. However, the latest one hasn’t credited EC account yet. Barclaycard confirm voucher has been issued at their end. Reading through t&c’s on BA website it states only one voucher can be applied in any year.

Could this be the reason my latest one hasn’t been credited yet? Anyone else in a similar position? TIA.

Barclays appears to be having an issue and instead of handling it properly, they’re lying to customers saying vouchers have been issued. Would recommend raising a complaint with them

I did manage to get 2 voucher for the exact scenario you mentioned i.e downgraded and met both spend. But my first voucher issued fine so I did not have your problem. Also mine was issued in 2023 so things may have changed.

Can I please clarify as the question hasn’t been answered.
If I spend £20k in one year with the Barclaycard Plus card, is that one voucher or two ?
If not, stop at the first voucher, and go on to your partners card, and sort of, repeat, back and forth ?

One voucher per card per card year.

Thanks, we will rinse and repeat between us every 6 months or so.

I don’t know why, but my wife and I get 2 upgrade vouchers every year with our Barclaycards. One for hitting £10k spend and one at the anniversary date.

On the Barclays App, one is headed “Yearly spending reward” the other “Anniversary reward”

I assure you, both hit our BAEC accounts separately every year.

Do you have Barclays Premier bank accounts as well as the credit cards?

Do you have a Barclays premier account perchance?

Assuming the Anniversary reward is under the Barclays Avios Rewards heading, that is the Premier Banking current account, for which you should be paying £12 per month and is nothing to do with the credit card. If you’ve managed to acquire that without paying don’t shout about it.

Update – second voucher credited nearly 2 weeks after triggering it.

To clarify, got one voucher for spending 10k on the plus card and another one for spending 20k on the free card.

I also get two vouchers a year, one anniversary reward and one for £10k spending.
