Barclays Upgrade voucher on LGW/LHR route

I get a “route not allowed” error message when I try to book LGW-GVA GVA-LHR in J with the Barclays voucher.

Is this really not posible? Thx

I had this same problem when I first tried to use the voucher in October 2023. I called up and was told that it’s not valid on flights labelled BAEuroflyer.

In the end I switched the flights to LHR return so worked fine but might require a call.

There was some discussion on this in the early days of the voucher. I can’t recall whether Euroflyer is actually disqualified or just needs booking by phone due to the system not liking mixing the two. Worth a call anyway if you need the LGW departure.

You certainly can use a Barclays voucher on Gatwick Euroflyer flights. But the system gives you an error if you try to mix a Gatwick flight with a LCY or LHR flight.
