Bassinet Seats

I am a lowly flyer with no status. Not even bronze 😃

2 of us are flying Club World to JNB on Saturday. How do I go about trying to book the bassinet seats?

When check in opens for us 24 hours beforehand , I will book our seats. However , I’d really like the 2 bassinet seats.

I understand that these aren’t actually released online and I do understand that they may already rightly be taken by someone with an infant. I also know that they aren’t released until much later if they haven’t been taken by anyone with an infant

I know it’s unlikely that I am going to be able to secure them but I would certainly like to give it a go.

What is the best way to do this please?

I believe that I may have to phone reservations after online check in or do I ask at the boarding gate ?

You’ll need to wait, but you can use Expertflyer to find out if those seats are already taken or just blocked in which case they may become available.
