Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Executive Club Best Club suite seats for a couple

  • VinZ 174 posts

Any thoughts? Never flown in that cabin (only the old yin/yang one) so I’m not sure what I should go for? Two in the middle? Or one behind the other on the window?

I know this is probably more subjective than anything else, but I guess if flying next to each other in the middle is not worth it then I’ll go for those by the window.

Looking for some tips and stories of those who have tried both options.

    Thank you

It’s a personal thing. We both like a window seat and watch different films and read a lot on flights. The “wall” between the middle pair is also quite high, so not hugely conducive to chit-chat. Plenty of people do prefer the middle pair, though.

Window seats for us. I like to look out. We talk enough anyway.

2A and 2J (my wife told me to write this!). And she put the divider up on me whilst talking when we were in the middle😁💏

Seriously even in F we sit and chat at the start, and maybe for food and a drink, but otherwise are in our own cocoon. You’re never far away and you can stretch your legs whilst you chat.

We also tend to only talk during meals or late in the flight, but for that reason I always pick middle seats. And I also always pick 2-3 rows back so they are not right next to the loos/galley but we are far enough forward we get a choice of food since I ditched Gold last year.

Agree it’s personal, but we are windows 2or 3 rows back, except when there is a first cabin so front bulkhead isn’t by galley.

I haven’t had anyone come to me first as gold for ages. Indeed on last flight I was in row 7 in middle of the big club suite cabin on 1000, they missed me entirely. SoAvoid that if you can
