Best lounge DXB? (BA Gold + Amex Platinum)

Hi,

I’m travelling in a few days through DXB with BA – any thoughts on which lounge is the best to opt for?

I have BA Gold and Amex Platinum – should I still with the BA lounge are there any better options?

You could email Emirates and ask for a status match and use the Emirates lounge.

That wouldn’t work. The OP is flying BA. Emirates lounge entry would require an Emirates boarding pass as well as matched status.

My Barclays Dragon Pass got me into the Ahlan First Class Lounge (Concourse D), probably the best lounge I have ever been in. I believe it is the First Class Lounge for airlines who don’t have their own.

One wall is a HUGE Flightradar24 map of the airport and surrounding area, which beats BA’s horse any day.
