As the title says I have three valid vouchers. The better half and I plan to travel to the US, but she will be returning before me, as I have business at the end of the trip. Is it possible to use one of the vouchers as a two for one in Premium and then upgrade both to Upper Class (if available), or does the different return dates scupper this.
Any help greatly appreciated before a protracted wait time on a call to CS.

If you don’t mind using up 2 vouchers, I would do this. I think it works. Assuming you want to fly UC, you can find the dates that work for you, pay premium in points and use one voucher to upgrade yourself to UC both direction. And then do the same for your OH, using another voucher, but returning at an earlier date. That is assuming you can find UC availability for exactly what you want. I’m not sure if you can link the bookings outbound. i.e would it be a problem if you don’t sit together on the way out?
It wasn’t clear if work is paying for your return trip. If so, you can redeem outbound for you and your OH using one voucher. Redeem one way back for your OH in UC – can use a voucher but seem a bit of a waste as it is one way unless voucher is about to expire. And then work pay for your flight back.

For UC, seat selection is available at booking. VA vouchers can be utilised in halves if booking one way, the other half is preserved to be used next time.

I was told by CS that as a Red member, I cannot upgrade when using points. Also cant use the 2-4-1 if different return dates. Work is paying for my flight and OH has decided to fly back with me. So booked premium for both of us and upgraded to UC.
