Hi all, was wondering if I could get some experienced advice, please.
I want to take my wife and daughter (adult) to NY for three nights in May 2025.
    I have the following
    BA Companion Voucher Exp 04/26
    Upgrade Voucher Exp 09/25
    Upgrade Voucher Exp 04/26
    My wife has
    BA Companion Voucher Exp 08/26
    Upgrade Voucher Exp 08/25

We want to fly Club coming back but are happy to do WT+ on the way out, but if there okay to fly Club if it makes more sense both ways.
The caveat is that I need to book three return flights to Tokyo for Easter 26 and obviously I have to wait until next April/May to book these and we defo want to fly Club returns. My anniversary date is March so I could get another voucher by then fairly quickly but my wife’ is May. So it’s a bit tight on getting the vouchers quick enough to use for Tokyo, it’s possible but risky. However mine runs out in 29 April 2026 anyway, but Easter is start of April then, so should be okay.
What is the best way of doing this, getting the best deal but keeping the options open for Tokyo in April 26.
    Many thanks for helping

Amex vouchers are far more useful with the additional availability they can open up and save you more points than an upgrade voucher. So save that for Tokyo.

Burn the Barclaycard ones for NY, imho.

I replied in the post in yesterdays daily chat.

Your 2025 Upgrade vouchers appear of no use for your plans. Take your daughter to NY with your companion voucher, then your wife uses her upgrade voucher both ways herself.

Then for Tokyo do similar but in reverse (ie your wife takes daughter with her companion voucher, and you use your upgrade voucher).

    All subject to availability.
