Forums Payment cards Other payment cards Billhop to pay company bills ?

  • 5 posts

    Hi,
I was researching how to pay my new ( hiked) council tax bill using Amex via PayPoint at my local COOP supermarket. All good.
Then in one article it promoted a service called BILLHOP , a Swedish company , which would be perfect to help me pay regular monthly bills for a small limited company I run. A BillHop account and using my BA Amex or Avios Barclaycard was what I planned to setup.
However, when I went to their site, it’s stating that a company account must have a min of 10 employees and over 2M euro turnover !. Also it has nothing on their site about “personal accounts”
Has anyone recently set up a new BillHop account for a small 2 employee company ?
Or what other similar websites offer the same sort of bill payment service that accepts Amex or MasterCard ?
    Cheers

It changed quite a while ago! What you see on their website is correct. No more personal/individual accounts.

Keep me posted on a promo.
I need to set up two new accounts if possible , a business one and a personal one if that’s possible.

I’m not sure if BlueChain or others work with HMRC
    Using Amex ???

I have already paid , but due to working abroad for 17 years my wife and I had a lot of missing NI years and after loads of phone calls to DWP and HMRC we managed to get it sorted but I could only pay by bank transfer.

I think that’s what happens. You pay them via amex, they pay by BT
