Any clever routes here using avios? Tried looking on BA but showing no availibity.

KLM fly it if you have any Virgin miles.

Thai go direct too, again, you’d need miles with them or a partner (not BA).

Cathay indirect is an Avios option, and I’d assume JAL too.

Other direct options are available with non-alliance airlines, including Air Asia from DMK. Given it’s a three hour flight direct I’d avoid the faff of a change if at all possible.

i couldnt see any cathay redemptions on BA when i checked. 🙁

I do have virgin miles though – presumably will have to ring up for a redemption

Forget avios, CX short-haul is no longer a sweetspot for BAEC. If business on KLM is available and reasonable using FC miles that would be my first choice. Otherwise tge best combination of price and schedule on one of the direct route suggested by memesweeper. I think Cebu Pacific also fly Bangkok to Manila direct, and PAL.
