Looking to book award seats on a specific flight from DXB to LHR in November.
There is currently only World Traveller available.
What is Club World availability like on this route? (More specifically this flight is on an A380)
Do I book the WT seats now or take a gamble and wait for CW seats to open up?
I’m assuming if I book WT now and CW later opens up I would incur the £35 change fee to “upgrade”? (I’ll be reaching Gold status in a few days from now if that makes any difference)
TIA for any advice!
Try DXB to a regional like MAN via LHR for extra availability and travel HBO…..

Did not know about this trick. It actually worked! Thanks so much!
You MUST go to Manchester though ….
What is HBO?
.
Hand baggage only
hand baggage only. For these flights if you don’t get the first leg the whole lot gets cancelled. You can skip the last leg if you don’t have hold luggage or if you need to move your hold luggage (say from lhr to lgw). start skipping the last leg on a regular basis can cause relationship issues.

It’s a one-way award and would be HBO…
Does this trick work if using a Barclays upgrade voucher or just new 241?
