I know this has been covered in the past but would like to see if anyone has done this recently and what number is best to call at 1am GMT. I have read some previous posts that say the USA office closes at 1am (GMT) so would need to call at 12.50 and hope that they are willing to complete the transaction, feels like I would be taking a bit of a chance with that! On the BA website it says the USA office is open 7am to 1am (EST) so if I was calling from UK at 1am this would be 8pm US time – not sure if they still actually close at 1am GMT? Has anyone called them recently? Or if you can give me any tips that would be great.

PaddyThere are quite a few fairly recent examples in the 241 threads – people reporting success and others saying agents are now refusing to do this. I think latterly people were having more success ringing the far east (Japan?) office than the US one.
