Myself, wife and infant trying to select seats on a BA A320. Greeted with the following error:
‘We’re sorry, but for safety reasons infants cannot be seated together.
Please choose seats in separate rows or across the aisle from each other.’
The flight is showing as practically empty; I have tried multiple rows; still the same error message pops up.
Any ideas?
Are you possibly trying to seat two infants in a single Club Europe row that has a blocked out middle seat, example 4A and 4C ?
If so, try adult in 4A, child in 4C and similar in next row (or across the aisle) with Adult in say 4D and child in 4F. That would prevent infants being seated next to each other.
Otherwise no idea.
It’s gonna be something to do with oxygen masks I would guess.
Assuming its 2A + 1I then on some BA A320 aircraft you’d need to be in certain rows – so try odd and even + left and right side. Otherwise I don’t know either!
Infant as lap child or own seat?
In economy and the latter then shouldn’t be a problem as would be 3 O2 anyway. Only an issue if there are 2 adults and 2 lap child’s as not all rows have 4 masks fitted.
Not sure about club. But 02 isn’t the issue.
Maybe one to call up about.
I do wish peeps would summarise the topic in the title!
