Can I refer my business?

Hi Guys,

I have just taken out the platinum card and was wondering if as a personal user I could refer my business and get a referral bonus?

Any points I hold on the business card can they be used personally in any way?

Yes, technically, you can refer – but as the business cards are personal cards in disguise (personal liability) you are technically referring yourself and that won’t end well.

You won’t qualify for a bonus on a Business card because you have a Membership Rewards-earning personal card.

You did it the wrong way. If you’d got the Business card first, you could have referred for the personal Platinum card and got both bonuses, since the rules allow that.

Is Business to Personal not considered a self referral in the same way you state Personal to Business is?
