My BA flight today LCY – NEC was cancelled as a member of cabin crew went off sick, is this common and does it make sense?
Yes it happens. Just as it happens in all sorts of workplaces.
People get sick and airlines can’t always have lots of staff on standby. Planes simply cannot fly with out the legally mandated minimum number of crew.
And why wouldn’t it make sense?
At least you’ll be able to claim compensation for the cancellation.
Don’t know which airport NEC is. Best get thst right when you make your claim.
NEC is somewhere in Argentina – must have missed BA launching flights there!
NEC sounds like somewhere nice.
NCE sounds like somewhere Nice!
I told my wife I was taking her to “Lunch at Heston” followed by a trip to NEC. Imagine her surprise when we didn’t eat at the Fat Duck and then fly to Buenos Aires, but instead went to the M4 services for a sandwich followed by a drive to Birmingham! 😁
