Cancellation refund on partner airline bookings

Hi, can someone tell me what cancellation charges would I have to pay to get the points back if I cancelled a booking? Taxes per person are only circa £15.

I cancelled a DL redemption recently. The £10 or so taxes came back, but no points. I called VS, and they refunded the points, and didn’t charge me anything for the cancellation!

Thanks @NorthernLass, was that outside of the 24h cancellation period?

Yes, months outside! @davefl or another reader said that it’s a known issue when cancelling partner redemptions online, the system doesn’t refund the points so you have to speak to VS.
