Cancelled flight, claim seat refund?

I have just cancelled my flight due to a trapped femoral nerve and I am happy with the procedure. I had also booked a seat using Avios, please can you advise if I can claim the Avios back on that?

No. You lose any money or Avios you spent on seats. We have written about this in the past.
